Cy Twombly, Ferragosto V, 1961. Oil paint, wax crayon, lead pencil on canvas. 164.5 x 200 cm.
This image is from Art Daily.
Since I have moved all my images to a separate gallery I thought that I would expand the contents of the weblog to include some of the artwork that influences me. Lately I've been looking at some work by Cy Twombly. I like his work but it challenging.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found
ReplyDeletea sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter
and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had
to tell someone!
